ABOUT

Originally from Seattle, WA, US, I have spent most of my life in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. In my free time I enjoy exploring new places, trying diverse cuisines, baking, immersing myself in nature, hiking, crocheting, and going kayaking. Additionally, I have a passion for training my dogs in various activities such as trick training, agility, dock diving, and truffle hunting.

My deep curiosity about how things work and how people interact with their environment has always driven me. I became particularly intrigued by observing my grandmother's struggle with everyday physical products as her arthritis worsened. Witnessing her determination to maintain autonomy by seeking out technology that offered a less painful experience in her daily life taught me to appreciate the importance of human factors in everyday experiences.

In 2019, I embarked on a Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication - User Experience. This program emphasized perceptual psychology, visual design, copywriting, and audience analysis, culminating in the development of an academic

My interest in user experience design and research flourished during this program, inspiring me to pursue further knowledge and expertise. In the fall of 2022, I relocated to Trento, Italy, to pursue a Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction at the University of Trento.
